For some events at Satama Areena, you can pre-order intermission refreshments and a pre-event buffet meal.
Pre-order catering

During events, a supervised, fee-based cloakroom service is available in the main lobby. The cloakroom opens two (2) hours before the start of performances and closes approximately half an hour after they end. For trade fairs and public events, the cloakroom operates according to the event’s opening hours.

The cloakroom fee is €3 per customer.

Payment can be made to the cloakroom attendants via card or MobilePay. You can also purchase a cloakroom ticket in advance when buying your event ticket through the lippu.fi service. Cash payments are not accepted. During the main lobby’s opening hours, the cloakroom area is available for guests to use free of charge, but we do not provide supervision for garments or bags left there.

Please note that sound levels at Satama Areena events can be high; we therefore recommend using earplugs. Earplugs are available from the cloakroom and from staff members during events.

You can hand over any lost items found on the premises to our staff, security personnel, the restaurant, or the information desk in the main lobby.

You can arrange to collect lost items by calling the lobby security guard during opening hours at +358 40 482 5506.

Lost items are kept for two weeks, after which they are sent for recycling. Valuables found on the premises are handed over to the lost property office at the Kotka police station. Satama Areena does not mail lost items.

The parking area at Maritime Centre Vellamo is primarily reserved for the Centre’s visitors; we ask guests of Satama Areena to use the Kantasatama P1, P2, and P3 parking areas. In addition to the Kantasatama parking areas, we recommend the Kotka Toriparkki parking garage, located just a few minutes’ walk (approx. 500 meters) away, where your vehicle is protected from the sun, rain, snow, and wind. A signposted walking route leads directly from Kotka Toriparkki to the southern entrance of Satama Areena.

VIP tickets and packages are also available for some of the public events held at Satama Areena. VIP ticket availability is indicated on the event page alongside the event details.

Safety is at the heart of our event operations. We place great importance on the safety of our staff, property, and guests at the venue. We actively update our safety plans and risk assessments for the facility and our events, taking into account environmental changes and the specific nature of each event. Our staff are trained in first aid, and our partners ensure their own personnel are skilled in safety and first aid procedures. The partners providing security services at Satama Areena have been selected based on their event experience and expertise in high-quality security services; we want our guests to feel safe in every interaction.

Everyone is welcome to attend our events as their authentic selves. Satama Areena events provide access to a designated harassment contact person to assist in situations involving harassment.

All entrances and public areas at Satama Areena are fully accessible. All main entrances feature automatic doors. Access routes to the entrances are level, sufficiently wide, and well-lit.

Free wireless internet access is available to visitors throughout Satama Areena. The network name is SatamaAreena_Open, and it does not require a login or password.

Photography, videography, and audio recording are generally prohibited for commercial purposes at the events unless specific permission has been granted.

Representatives of the media or the music industry wishing to apply for accreditation for events at Satama Areena should contact the Satama Areena production manager using the details found on the contact information page. We reserve the right to make decisions regarding accreditation due to limited capacity. Please note that photography permission must be applied for separately; decisions regarding this are made by the artists’ management in conjunction with the event organizer.
