The Maritime Centre Vellamo has its own guest dock, which is also available for use by Satama Areena visitors for the duration of their visit. The dock is located on the north side of the Maritime Centre Vellamo, approximately 100 meters from the entrance (60˚28.4’N/26˚56.7’E). The guest dock offers eight berths with mooring booms and 30 meters of space for alongside mooring. As the dock is not intended for overnight stays, it does not provide electricity, water, sewage pump-out, or waste management services.
A service marina for visiting boaters is located in Sapokka, Kotka (60°27.5’N/26°57.1’E), offering fuel sales, sewage pump-out, a water point, restaurant services, showers, and laundry facilities.
A water bus dock for chartered services is also located near Satama Areena, making it easy to combine your visit with, for example, a cruise around Kotkansaari Island or into the waters of the Eastern Gulf of Finland National Park.

While parking space in the immediate vicinity of Satama Areena is limited, there are several large parking areas in the Kantasatama district.
The parking area at the Maritime Centre Vellamo is primarily reserved for the Centre’s visitors; we ask that Satama Areena guests use the Kantasatama P1, P2, and P3 parking areas instead.
In addition to the Kantasatama parking areas, we recommend the Kotka Toriparkki (Market Square parking garage), located just a few minutes’ walk (approx. 500 meters) away; here, your vehicle is protected from the sun, rain, snow, and wind. A signposted walking route leads directly from Kotka Toriparkki to the southern entrance of Satama Areena.
Parking spaces for visitors with reduced mobility and a drop-off point for passengers are available in front of Satama Areena.
Parking without a permit in the Satama Areena service yard is prohibited. The service yard is reserved exclusively for staff and event organisers.
