Kymi Sinfonietta will perform at Meripäivät for the first time – and they’re starting off loud and high! Kotka’s own Antti Rissanen will lead the orchestra and its soloists into the world of rock. The concert will feature classics from Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, Iron Maiden, AC/DC, Nightwish, and Metallica, among others. The evening will also include a taste of classical music with a gritty twist, as well as well-known musical hits. The concert soloists will be announced in early 2026.
